Job Description

SkyBridge Luxury & Associates is seeking a passionate, hands-on Chef de Cuisine for our client’s prestigious private residential club located in the Hudson Valley. This full-time, year-round leadership position will be instrumental in shaping the culinary experience across multiple outlets within one of the most exclusive lifestyle-driven communities in the country.

Working closely with the Culinary Director and F&B leadership, the Chef de Cuisine will lead a team dedicated to delivering innovative, seasonal cuisine that reflects the agricultural richness of the region while upholding elevated service standards. The property is part of a renowned portfolio known globally for crafting world-class environments centered around family, food, and experiential luxury.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations and culinary execution across multiple dining outlets.
  • Hire, train, and develop a high-performing culinary team focused on quality, consistency, and hospitality.
  • Lead menu development using locally sourced, seasonal ingredients; balance high-volume family dining with refined tasting menus.
  • Maintain strong cost controls, inventory systems, and vendor relationships while staying aligned with budgeted labor and food costs.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and sanitation standards, including HACCP protocols.
  • Set clear expectations for performance, cleanliness, and accountability within all BOH areas.
  • Collaborate with the Culinary Director on special events, seasonal activations, and experiential programming.
  • Contribute to leadership meetings and overall departmental success through proactive communication and teamwork.

Candidate Profile

  • Culinary degree or background in Michelin-starred or Forbes Five-Star environments preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in luxury resort, club, or fine dining operations.
  • Prior experience in private clubs, boutique resorts, or multi-venue operations strongly preferred.
  • Mastery of classical and modern cooking techniques, kitchen systems, and menu development.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operational standards and seasonal menu planning.
  • Composed, team-oriented leader who mentors others and maintains a positive kitchen culture.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting volume.
