Branch Manager – Rancho Dominguez, CA

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Branch Manager to lead operations in Rancho Dominguez, CA. You will own P&L responsibility, drive operational excellence, and develop high-performing teams in a dynamic logistics environment.

What you will be doing

Leadership & Operations

Plan, direct, implement, and control daily branch operations (excluding warehouse operations)
Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company standards
Drive operational efficiency, service quality, and continuous improvement

Financial and P&L Management

Own branch P&L including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
Analyze financial results and implement strategies to achieve revenue growth and profitability
Monitor KPIs and develop action plans to meet performance targets

Commercial Development

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, agents, and vendors, and foster the same within the branch team
Identify business opportunities and develop local market strategies
Collaborate with the sales team to drive revenue and expand market share

Team Management

Recruit, train, and mentor staff to achieve high performance
Set clear objectives and foster a culture of accountability and customer focus
Support employee development and succession planning

What we are looking for

Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent work experience
5+ years’ experience in cargo transportation, freight forwarding, or logistics
Proven success in branch or operations management with P&L responsibility
Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
Excellent financial acumen and commercial awareness
Effective communicator with strong customer relationship management
Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Fluency in written and verbal English

Compensation: Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
