Job Description
We are seeking an attorney who can provide quality legal services to our large, diverse client base. Our ideal candidate will work passionately and effectively alongside our senior partners and staff to ensure a successful outcome for clients. Candidate must be a member of the Georgia Bar or scheduled for an upcoming exam. Compensation: $75,000 - $95,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
Take responsibility for administrative staff relating to client invoicing/billing records, setting up meetings with clients and completing tasks
Determine case strategies and solutions to serve clients’ needs after analysis
Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions
Counsel clients by assessing options and determining the best course of action for a successful outcome
Appear in court on behalf of clients and argue motions during legal proceedings
Qualifications:
Over 1 year of experience representing clients in a law firm
Candidates must currently be a member of their local bar association - active member preferred
Advanced computer skills working with legal research programs (Westlaw and Lexis) required
Decision-making, public speaking, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and communication skills are a must
Required Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school; representation of clients for at least 2 years a plus
