About the Role

We’re seeking a Research Associate with experience in sperm biology. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our founding team to develop and optimize assays, conduct experiments with sperm cells, and generate high-quality data to advance our core technology.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute sperm biology experiments, including live-cell staining and imaging
• Support flow cytometry and microscopy-based assay development
• Maintain quality control and accurate sample tracking
• Record, analyze, and be able to interpret experimental data
• Contribute to protocol development, troubleshooting, and lab operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s (or equivalent experience) in molecular biology, bioengineering, cell biology, or related field

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience working with mammalian sperm cells is required
• Familiarity with microscopy, cell staining, and/or flow cytometry
• Highly organized with excellent lab notebook and documentation skills
• Mission-driven and eager to grow in a startup environment

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with embryos, ICSI, or IVF workflows
• Prior experience with flow cytometry techniques
• Prior startup or technology development experience

Pay Range and Compensation Package

This is a full-time, on-site role based in the San Francisco Peninsula, CA.

• Salary range: $70,000–$100,000, depending on experience
• Equity: Meaningful early-stage equity as part of the founding team
