We are looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Reservations Manager to help lead and support our dynamic Reservations Department. As the Assistant Reservations Manager, you will play a vital leadership role in driving revenue, optimizing guest experiences, and supporting a high-performing team. What You Will Do:

  • Inspire and Lead : Motivate a team of reservation agents to deliver exceptional service across phone and email channels. Provide hands-on coaching to elevate sales techniques and booking conversion rates.
  • Drive Results : Monitor performance metrics and quality standards to ensure every guest interaction meets luxury expectations. Partner with the Director to implement revenue-focused strategies and training.
  • Support Daily Operations : Oversee the accuracy of reservations, assist with group bookings, generate reports, and ensure seamless communication across departments.
  • Team Development : Lead daily team line-ups and monthly meetings, conduct performance reviews, support hiring and training, and help maintain a positive and productive team culture.
  • Optimize Systems : Serve as the department’s expert on NAVIS and Revinate. Help reconcile travel agent commissions, manage schedules, and support SOPs and incentive programs.
  • Collaborate with Leadership : Work closely with the Directors of Revenue and Reservations to build new packages, rate codes, and short-term rental strategies.
  • Deliver a Luxury Experience : Ensure every reservation reflects our commitment to quality, attention to detail, and personalized service.

  • Strong communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment
  • Analytical thinker with a keen eye for detail and performance metrics
  • Proficiency in reservations systems and revenue tools (NAVIS, Revinate, or similar)
  • Experience in team management, scheduling, and staff development
