Job Title: Lab Technician /Agriculture Technician

Location: Kunia, HI 96759

Duration: 3-6 Month Contract

Pay Range: $20 – $25/hr

Position Summary:

We are seeking entry-level Lab Technicians with an agriculture-related background (Agriculture, Botany, Crop Science, Horticulture, Entomology, etc.) to support lab-scale research and product development for Client. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a lab environment working with cutting-edge agricultural research and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing, evaluating, and documenting lab-scale agricultural samples used in crop research, product testing, and development programs.
• Support agronomic studies by conducting plant evaluations, seed treatments, pest/pathogen trials, or soil/media analyses as needed.
• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain lab and agricultural testing equipment for accurate results and process reliability.
• Keep detailed lab notebooks, digital records, and reports in accordance with study requirements and protocols.
• Conduct internet and literature reviews related to plant science, pest resistance, seed technology, or soil health to support R&D projects.
• Work closely with research scientists and other lab technicians to execute tasks that support both agricultural field trials and lab-based experiments.
• Ensure compliance with EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) guidelines, SOPs, and company safety protocols in all lab and field activities.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments, interface with research teams, agronomists, and technical supervisors, and deliver results in a timely manner.

• Recent graduates or professionals with degrees or hands-on experience in:
• Agriculture
• Crop Science
• Botany
• Horticulture
• Entomology
• Plant Physiology
• Agronomy or related fields
• Interest in agricultural innovation, crop protection, or plant health research.
• Comfortable working in both lab and field environments when required.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to contribute to real-world agricultural solutions.
