Job Description

1st Shift Bottling Operator/Machine Operator

Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking a dedicated 1st Shift Machine Operator for the Bottling Department at a production team building water testing kits for pools and spas. This full-time, onsite position offers the opportunity to work in both liquid (pints & quarts) and powder operations, ensuring the highest standards in production and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Operate fully/semi-automatic machines such as fillers, cappers, and labelers, which often require two operators.
  • Troubleshoot issues and replace worn parts to maintain efficient operations.
  • Maintain tools and independently retrieve supplies from the warehouse.
  • Ensure that all products meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Maintain a clean work area and adhere to GMP, HACCP, and safety guidelines.
  • Complete daily records accurately and follow production schedules.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Mechanical aptitude with strong attention to detail is essential.
  • Ability to stand for the entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Prior experience in bottling or manufacturing is preferred.

Required Work Hours

Monday - Friday, 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Additional Details

Must be able to commute to Sparks, MD and commit to the scheduled shift. The role requires 0% travel time, ensuring stability and a consistent work schedule.
